Personal Data Processing Disclosure

As Aris Madencilik Anonim Şirketi (Aris Mining Inc.), the protection of personal data — a right enshrined in the Turkish Constitution — is of great importance to us. Protecting the personal data you share with us in accordance with Article 20 of the Constitution and Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), and using such information in compliance with the KVKK, are among our highest priorities. We therefore wish to explain our personal data processing activities and your related rights in more detail.
a) Collection and Processing of Personal Data, and Purposes of Processing
Your personal data varies depending on the service or commercial activity provided by our company, and is collected verbally, in writing or electronically, by automated or non-automated means, through our company, its website and similar channels. Such data will be processed within the conditions and purposes of personal data processing set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.
Categories of Personal Data Processed
- Identity data: name, surname, parents' names, date of birth, place of birth, national ID number, etc.
- Contact data: address, e-mail address, correspondence address, registered e-mail address, telephone number, etc.
- Location data: location information.
- Legal proceedings data: information in correspondence with judicial authorities, case file information, etc.
- Physical premises security data: camera recordings, etc.
- Visual and audio recordings.
- Health data: chest X-ray, pulmonary function test, ECG.
Purposes of Processing
- Carrying out activities in compliance with legislation
- Execution of contractual processes
- Conducting communication activities
- Follow-up and conduct of legal affairs
- Ensuring the security of physical premises
- Providing information to authorised persons, institutions and organisations
- Conducting storage and archiving activities
b) To Whom and For What Purpose Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your collected personal data may be transferred to authorised public institutions and organisations, to natural persons or private law legal entities, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, for the purposes stated in this disclosure and in paragraph (a).
c) Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection
When processing your personal data, our company observes the rules of lawfulness and good faith; ensures the data is accurate, is not used beyond the scope of the processing, is processed for legitimate purposes, is kept up to date, and is retained only for the reasonable period required for the intended purpose.
d) Rights of the Data Subject under Article 11 of the KVKK
If you submit your requests concerning your rights to our company by the methods set out in this disclosure, our company will conclude the request free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on its nature. However, if a fee is stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee in the tariff determined by our company will apply. In this context, data subjects have the right to:
- learn whether their personal data is processed;
- request information if their personal data has been processed;
- learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose;
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom personal data is transferred;
- request rectification if personal data is processed incompletely or inaccurately;
- request erasure or destruction of personal data;
- request that rectification, erasure or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred;
- object to a result arising against the person through analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems;
- claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing of personal data.

e) Changes to Data Privacy Principles
Should there be changes in the legislation, the necessary explanations will be published on our website; we recommend that you visit our site periodically.
